A house by the forest -

The forset edge is a place where the tame landscape of human settlemenst and the rampant world of nature meet. The slender pine trunks are like columns supporting the sky with their green capitals. They stand still as the seasons colours change and as the sun immers into them with its cold or warm fingers. 

But there's always a window to the east. The screen of the world. Throught it I see the stilllandscape, through it see the present, and I see the images that I once saw (. . . ) Perhaps I look at my whole life, which has vanished into the stilllandscape, becoming an invisible part of it, just like a drop of water becomes a part of the ocean. To notice that, you need a window. That's what I think.
