Edyta Skiba 

​

Architect with ten years of design experience, specializing in projects on the edge of architecture and urban planning. She gained her professional experience working with offices such as BBGK Architekci (Warsaw, PL), Ladhelma & Mahlamaki Architects (Helsinki, FI), Bulanda & Mucha Architekci (Warsaw, PL) and MooMoo Architects (Łódź, PL). For five years she has been leading architect of multidisciplinary teams preparing masterplans, housing projects, public usage and private interiors throughout Poland. Since 2017 she has been a correspondent of Architektura & Biznes magazine. In 2024 she haslounched her own blog about architecture and the city under the name Architropy.

Since 2023 she is a PhD student at the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Łódź University of Technology, conducting research in the field of food independence of the city and circular spatial management. In 2014 she graduated with honours in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technical University of Łódź. She was also a scholarship holder at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium. She completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, majoring in City and Metropolis. She was a participant of the research project carried out at Instituto Arquitectura, Habitatat y San on the sensitivity of the poorest areas of the city of san Juan in Argentina to the impact of earthquakes and Mentor & Student Research Lab 2. 0 carried out at Gdańsk University of Technology. She participated in numerous workshops and conferences both nationally and internationally.

She has building rights to design and is an active member of the Mazovian Regional Chamber of Architects. She is a member of the Łódź Branch of the Association of Architects of the Republic of Poland (SARP).
